Hands-on, clinical experience for current students

As part of its education initiative, Martin's Point offers a Provider Student Clinical Program for individuals pursuing a career in the medical field.

.

Martin’s Point is honored to have a role in teaching and training the providers of tomorrow.

Offering students the opportunity to gain practical experience is critical to their education and to the future of primary care.

Who is Eligible?

Students enrolled in an accredited nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or medical school educational program are eligible to apply for a clinical rotation with Martin’s Point. The same process will apply to physician residents who wish to do a clinical training rotation.

Institute Affiliation Agreement Requirement

To participate in the clinical rotation program, the student’s education institution must have an affiliation agreement with Martin’s Point.

If a provider student is enrolled in an educational institution that does not currently have an affiliation agreement with Martin’s Point, our Human Resources Service Center will work with the student and/or educational institution to explore an affiliation.

Please Note: Preference will be given to students enrolled in institutions that have an active affiliation agreement with Martin’s Point. Contact the Human Resources Service Center with questions about affiliation agreements.

Application Review Process

Please allow a minimum of three weeks for requests to be reviewed by our staff to determine if there is a matching opportunity for your request.

While we make every effort to place students, we are not able to guarantee an opportunity for every student who applies.

If you have not heard from us after three weeks, please feel free to reach out to our Human Resources Service Center.
