Dear Martin’s Point Generations Advantage Member,

As we all continue to deal with the changes and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought, we want you to know that your health and well-being continue to be our top priority. We hope you’ve been able to shelter in place and maintain recommended social distancing if you need to go out. Below, you’ll find information that we’d like to share to help you take action to stay safe at home and in public.

If you have any questions about your coverage—COVID-19-related or otherwise—please don’t hesitate to call Member Services at 1-866-544-7504 (TTY: 711). We're available 8 am-8 pm, Monday through Friday. As always, and especially during these difficult times, we are here for you!

The federal government is warning that scammers are taking advantage of fears surrounding the new coronavirus. Many are targeting their scams at seniors. They have posted five important things you can do to avoid being taken advantage of:

  • Don’t respond to texts, emails, or calls about checks from the government.
  • Ignore online offers for vaccinations and home test kits.
  • Hang up on robocalls for anything COVID-19 related.
  • Watch out for emails claiming to be from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO) and never click on a link from a source you don’t know.
  • Do your research before you make a donation. Never donate in cash, by gift card, or by wiring money.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends that everyone wear a mask when in public settings where social distancing is difficult—like grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. The use of simple cloth face coverings is a simple step we can all take to help slow the spread of the virus.

Make Your Own Face Mask and learn how to wear your mask safely with guidance from the CDC.
