WE’RE HERE FOR YOU

As coronavirus-related restrictions slowly start to ease, we thank you for doing your part to continue to keep yourselves and our community protected from COVID-19. We want to assure you that we continue to be here to support your health in every way we can. Below, you’ll find important information about the steps we have taken to ensure we are delivering care in a manner that puts our patients’ and our staff’s safety first. We have also included links to resources to help you stay up to date on COVID-19 developments and stay safe at home and in public.

PLEASE DON’T DELAY NEEDED CARE

If you have a medical issue, including care you may need to help manage a chronic condition, please don’t delay getting in touch with us. Your Martin's Point provider may also be in the best position to advise you regarding a planned elective procedure. Please call soon if you have any questions about your medical care so we can ensure you get the services you may need in the safest way.

HAVE YOU TRIED A TELEHEALTH VISIT?

A telehealth visit can be a convenient and appropriate alternative to an in-office visit. Currently, most Martin’s Point providers are offering telehealth visits using Zoom Video technology. When approved by our medical staff, you may use televideo visits as a replacement for some in-person office visits. Please contact your provider’s office and ask if a televideo visit might be best for your health care needs.

Note: For a televideo visit, you will need a computer or mobile device to use Zoom. We will send instructions for using Zoom if a televideo visit is scheduled for you.

If you are unable to use Zoom as a care option, we will work with you to identify other available options for you.

KEEPING YOU AND OUR STAFF SAFE AT OUR HEALTH CARE CENTERS

We continue to take measures that promote the safety of our patients and our staff when conducting COVID-19 testing and providing in-office visits. Below is a list of steps we have taken and what you can expect when coming to our Health Care Centers for service:

Services promoting your and our staff’s safety:

  • Expanded telehealth video visits for care from the safety of your home
  • Drive-up COVID-19 diagnostic testing
  • Acute Respiratory Clinics (negative pressure rooms) and tents—creating a separate space to treat patients with COVID-like symptoms
  • Thorough disinfection of exam rooms between patients and a full cleaning and disinfection of the entire site each night following CDC cleaning guidelines

What to expect when receiving in-person services at our Health Care Centers:

  • For acute, non-COVID-related visits:
    • For those arriving within 15 minutes of your appointment: Rather than spending time in a common waiting area, patients will have the option of being escorted immediately to an exam room to wait for your provider.
  • For those arriving more than 15 minutes early who want to avoid waiting in a common area: We ask that you please wait in your car and call us to let us know you have arrived.
  • Requirement to wear a mask covering your nose and mouth (we are happy to provide one, if you need one)
  • Temperature checks prior to entering the building
  • Hand sanitizing upon entry and exit of building

RESCHEDULING CANCELLED VISITS

As you may be aware, many non-urgent office visits that had been scheduled to take place during the COVID-19 outbreak were cancelled out of safety concerns. As restrictions are easing, and our safety precautions are firmly in place, we are gradually beginning to contact those patients to reschedule any cancelled visits.

If your non-urgent visit was cancelled and you wish to reschedule it before you receive a call from us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. When you call, please let us know that you are rescheduling a cancelled visit so we can note it in your record.

Important reminder: Please do not delay seeking care if you have any medical concern. Please call us so we can make sure you get the highest-quality, appropriate care when you need it.
