April 23, 2020

Dear Martin’s Point US Family Health Plan Member,

As we all continue to deal with the changes and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought, we want you to know that your health and well-being continue to be our top priority. Below, you’ll find information that we’d like to share to help you stay safe at home and in public.

If you have any questions about your coverage—COVID-19-related or otherwise—please don’t hesitate to call Member Services at 1-888-674-8734. We're available 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday. As always, and especially during these difficult times, we are here for you!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for albuterol (Proair, Ventolin, Proventil) inhalers and levalbuterol (Xopenex) inhalers is much higher than normal. On April 10, 2020, TRICARE® placed quantity limits on these medications to help balance the demand with supply to ensure all patients have access to these medications. The limit is one inhaler per 30 days (one full copayment applies). TRICARE will monitor the availability of these medications and remove the quantity limits as the supply becomes available. You may get a refill starting on or after the 22nd day after you get your prescription filled. For more information go to

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) now recommends that everyone wear a mask when in public settings where social distancing is difficult—like grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. The use of simple cloth face coverings is a simple step we can all take to help slow the spread of the virus.

Make Your Own Face Mask and learn how to wear your mask safely with guidance from the CDC.

For your convenience, COVID-19-related information for Martin’s Point patients, health plan members, and network providers is available on our website at
