Members can connect with a nurse care manager to receive personal support during pregnancy and after delivery. It’s our goal for our pregnant members to have healthy pregnancies and deliver healthy babies. The Maternity Support Program is available to pregnant members and to new mothers after delivery.
Participation is free. Please call us at 1-877-659-2403 to ask about a free incentive and to answer a few questions so we can get to know you.
Did you know that flu season can continue into May? If you’ve already had your flu shot this season, thank you for taking care of yourself. If you haven’t, please consider getting your shot as soon as possible. The flu strains that make up the vaccine change every flu season, so it’s important to get a shot each year.
Nearly everyone aged six months or older, including pregnant women, should be vaccinated. Some people should not get a flu shot, including some with a history of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, some with compromised immune systems, those allergic to eggs or to flu vaccine or any ingredient in the vaccine, and infants under six months old. If you don’t feel well, it’s recommended that you wait until you feel better to get the flu shot.
For more information on the flu shot CLICK HERE or call Member Services.
