Helping You Stay Informed and Healthy
As your partner in health, we want to keep you informed about important changes we are making to our clinical services in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. As we work to meet the evolving demands of this outbreak, our priority will always be to deliver care in the safest way possible for our patients and staff. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we all adapt to the new demands of fighting this pandemic.
PLEASE WEAR A MASK
For the safety of our patients and staff, we ask all those entering our Health Care Centers for any reason to please wear a face mask. Any type of mask that covers the nose and mouth is acceptable, including homemade masks. Thank you for doing your part to care for our community.
Make Your Own Face Mask - Click here and learn how to wear your mask safely with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
IN-PERSON RESPIRATORY ASSESSMENT SITES
In addition to our current efforts to promote social distancing—mobile testing and telehealth services—we will soon have dedicated Acute Respiratory Infection clinics at three of our sites. This will allow us to do in-person assessments of patients with respiratory infection symptoms in a separate space, further reducing risk of exposure to other patients. Beginning next week, Martin’s Point patients requiring an in-person visit for these symptoms will be scheduled to receive care at a designated area at our Portland, Brunswick, or Portsmouth Health Care Center. All our Health Care Centers will still see patients with other acute care needs either in person or virtually.
If you are having respiratory infection symptoms, please call your provider. If they determine that you need an in-person visit, they will make an appointment for you at whichever of these dedicated sites is most convenient for you.
MARTIN’S POINT WEBSITE: COVID-19 RESOURCE
For your convenience, COVID-19-related information for Martin’s Point patients, health plan members, and network providers is now available on our website at MartinsPoint.org/COVID19
Thank you for working with us to protect the health of our community.
