Cardiology Specialty Services Update

Cardiology specialty services are no longer available at Martin’s Point Health Care as of January 1, 2024.

Our former cardiology providers—Dr. Iskander, Dr. Wingard, and PA David Ghiorse—have transitioned their practice to Northern Light Mercy Cardiovascular Care. Their patients are invited to continue their cardiology care with them at their new location.

To Continue Care with Northern Light Mercy Cardiovascular Care

To continue cardiology care with Dr. Iskander, Dr. Wingard, or David Ghiorse, PA through Northern Light Mercy Cardiovascular Care (located at 195 Fore River Parkway in Portland):

• Please download, print, and complete the Authorization to Release Protected Health Information form (labeled “Northern Light” Mercy Cardiovascular Care) to allow us to send your medical records to Northern Light.
• Return the completed and signed form to us at Martin’s Point Health Care, ATTN: HIM, 331 Veranda Street, PO Box 9746, Portland ME 04104.
• Contact Northern Light Mercy Cardiovascular Care at 207-879-3770 (option 2) to schedule any future appointments.

To Change Your Cardiology Care to a Different Provider

• Please contact your PCP for assistance with a referral.
• Download, print, and complete the blank Authorization to Release Protected Health Information form to allow us to send your medical records to your new cardiology provider.
• Return the completed and signed form to us at Martin’s Point Health Care, ATTN: HIM, 331 Veranda Street, PO Box 9746, Portland ME 04104.
