The Center for Grieving Children is a safe place for children, teens, and their families to find compassionate peer support, engage in commemorative activities, learn about the grieving process, and express feelings and experiences in an accepting environment.
Martin’s Point is a long-standing contributor to the Center for Grieving Children, sharing in their mission to support the mental and emotional health of families in our community.
The Center for Grieving Children serves nearly 3,000 grieving children, teens, families, and young adults annually through peer support, outreach, and education. All of their services are provided at no cost.
“For nearly 20 years, the Center has been honored to partner with Martin’s Point. Their support for grieving children and families who are going through some of the most challenging times in their lives has been truly immeasurable. As we come out of a particularly difficult time for our Maine community, the Martin’s Point team continues to be by the Center’s side and we are incredibly grateful.”
