Make-A-Wish® Maine

Make A Wish group

Make-A-Wish® Maine fulfills life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, infusing hope and happiness into their challenging journeys.

Martin’s Point actively supports Make-A-Wish® Maine‘s wish-granting efforts. Thousands of volunteers, donors, and supporters come together to grant the wishes of children.

For children facing critical illnesses, having a wish granted can mark a powerful turning point in their journey. It can ignite a sense of hope, showing them that anything is possible and inspiring them to fight with renewed strength against their illness.

Through our partnership with Make-A-Wish® Maine, our volunteers participated in the send-off of two recipients—Logan on his adventure to Dinosaur World, as well as Ticvah's trip to Disney World.

The Maine chapter was founded in 1992 by Wayne and Caroline Morong to serve children across Maine's 16 counties.

To date, the chapter has granted more than 1,900 wishes. Through the support of donors and volunteers, Make-A-Wish® Maine grants on average one wish every four days.
