Portland Gear Hub is a nonprofit, used outdoor gear and bike shop aiming to get more youth and adults outside and active by increasing access to affordable, reliable equipment, and educating about bike safety and maintenance.
The Portland Gear Hub’s Bikes for All Mainers program offers people ages 12+ a free educational opportunity to earn a bicycle by building skills in bike maintenance and traffic awareness.
Martin’s Point provides both monetary donations and employee volunteers, targeting our support to encourage active kids through Gear Hub's Youth Earn a Bike as well as the Youth Wrench programs.
