Martin’s Point has developed an extensive partnership with the University of Southern Maine, supporting students through job shadow and internship opportunities, as well as providing much-needed financial support. Martin’s Point employees include a number of USM alumni who actively support the University through the USM Foundation’s board membership and participation in alumni events and initiatives.
The University of Southern Maine is comprised of three campuses located in Gorham, Portland, and Lewiston.
Over many years, Martin’s Point has been a valued partner with USM, supporting important initiatives that directly benefit our students and our community, such as the USM Student Emergency Fund, the Campus Food Pantry, and LAC Senior College. Recently, Martin’s Point provided seed funding to launch the USM Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fund, which will strengthen our capacity to lead when it comes to addressing racial disparities, both on campus and within our shared community.
