Promoting Active Lifestyles and Community Engagement for Seniors
The mission of the Maine Senior Games is to provide athletic events and wellness opportunities to improve the health and fitness of people 45 and older.
For over 14 years, the Maine Senior Games and Martin’s Point Health Care have been partnering together to create a healthier community by promoting active and engaged lifestyles for area seniors. In addition to providing monetary support, multiple Martin’s Point employees currently volunteer with the Maine Senior Games, including one who serves on their board of directors. In 2023, athletes competed in the Maine Senior Games in Standish, with Martin’s Point continuing as the lead sponsor, a role they have held for many years.
