The Maine Celtics have teamed up with Martin's Point Health Care to bring the "Living Healthy" program to local Maine schools.
This interactive assembly teaches kids of all ages the importance of exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, it features a visit from Maine Celtics staff including but not limited to a player, coach, or mascot!
Through our sponsorship of the program, Maine Celtics players, staff, and team mascot, Crusher, conduct Living Healthy lessons with students from local elementary schools with a focus on the impact healthy foods and activities have on our bodies—including topics around diet, daily exercise, sleep, and making healthy decisions.

During these assemblies, students learn about healthy living through a Q&A session with a Maine Celtics player. They are also taught the importance of daily physical activity.
