If you are an adult-age dependent, you may purchase TYA coverage based on the eligibility established by your uniformed-service sponsor and where you live.
You may purchase TYA coverage if you are all of the following:
*If you are enrolled in a full-time course of study at an approved institution of higher learning and your sponsor provides more than 50 percent of your financial support, your eligibility may not begin until age 23 or upon graduation, whichever comes first.
