Maintenance medications are those you take regularly to manage ongoing health conditions, like high blood pressure or cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, etc. US Family Health Plan members are required to use the Martin’s Point Mail-Order Pharmacy for all refills of maintenance medications.
You may use in-network retail pharmacies for your other prescription needs, including the first, 30-day fill of maintenance medications.

In this situation, the remaining refills will be available to you through our Martin’s Point Mail-Order Pharmacy. For your convenience, you may request a mail-order refill by phone, fax, or online. No. The Martin’s Point Mail-Order Pharmacy only fills prescriptions for maintenance medications (see information below). US Family Health Plan members are required to fill prescriptions for maintenance medications through our mail-order service.
You may use any other network pharmacy for the first fill of maintenance medications and short-term prescriptions for acute conditions (like antibiotics or ear drops for infection, ointments for acute skin conditions, etc.). Please notify your prescriber(s) of your pharmacy preference for these fills. You can find a list of network retail pharmacies at MartinsPoint.org/Pharmacy.
Upon request, the Martin’s Point Mail-Order Pharmacy will transfer that prescription to the network retail pharmacy of your choice. Please contact us at 1-800-707-9853 for help.
These are medications taken regularly to help manage ongoing, chronic conditions. Examples include medications to help manage blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, or cholesterol, etc.
If you have a current maintenance medication prescription with refills valid into 2025 and you used our retail pharmacy for your fills, the remaining refills will be sent to you through our Martin’s Point Mail-Order Pharmacy.
