Dear Martin’s Point Patient,

Fall is here, bringing back-to-school routine changes and a renewed need to protect against cold and flu germs as we move indoors. It's important to ramp up hand-washing, cover coughs and sneezes, and get your seasonal flu shot. With few exceptions, the CDC recommends that everyone over six months get vaccinated as soon as it's available.

Martin’s Point Flu Clinics

Flu shots are now available at Martin’s Point and can be received in two ways:

  • At a scheduled appointment with a Martin’s Point provider
  • At one of our planned Martin’s Point Flu Shot Clinics

Clinic Information: You may use the MyMartin’sPoint® patient portal or call to schedule an appointment at one of our dedicated flu shot clinics. Please note that these are not walk-in clinics. Our clinic schedule is available at MartinsPoint.org/FluClinics.

COVID-19 Vaccines: The CDC recommends that everyone over the age of six months get the COVID-19 vaccine. It is especially important to get your 2024-2025 vaccine if you are ages 65 and older, at high risk for severe COVID-19, or if you’ve never received a COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccines are now available at our health care centers by appointment or during regularly scheduled visits. Please contact us to schedule.

Please Mask Up: A reminder for everyone visiting the health care centers—if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please wear a mask to protect yourself and those in our community.

New Phone Number: Please note that we have recently changed the Martin’s Point phone and text messaging system to provide an improved experience for our patients. Automated appointment reminder calls and text messages will come from a new phone number: 207-813-2177. We recommend that you add this phone number to your contacts list to avoid these calls/texts going to spam.

HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH—Reducing risks through awareness and education.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Whether you or a loved one are worried about developing breast cancer, have just been diagnosed, are going through breast cancer treatment, or are trying to stay well after treatment, explore our comprehensive guide for more detailed information available on our website through Healthwise. Contact us to schedule your mammogram at one of our health care centers.

Medicare Annual Enrollment Reminder: If you are eligible for Medicare, the Annual Enrollment Period for 2025 coverage runs from October 15–December 7. Martin’s Point Generations Advantage has options that might work for you. (Martin’s Point also accepts other Medicare Advantage plans.) For more information about our plans, please visit our Shop Medicare Plans page on our website.
