A message from Martin’s Point President and CEO, Dr. Paul Kasuba

Each year, Medicare Advantage Organizations review and adjust their plan offerings to ensure they meet the needs of members and remain competitive in the marketplace.  This year, Martin’s Point made changes to our Generation Advantage (MA) offerings, including exiting the New Hampshire market for 2026, and making significant changes to the products we offer in Maine.

As we evaluated and adjusted the products we offer in Maine for 2026, we made the decision to discontinue certain Generations Advantage plans, impacting roughly 27,000 members. For those impacted members, as well as all Medicare eligible individuals in every county in Maine, we still offer four Medicare Advantage plans designed to fit their health care needs and budget.

Martin’s Point notified all impacted members at the beginning of October based on timing controlled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). We are actively working with those members to determine if one of our comparable remaining plans will meet their needs for the 2026 plan year.

As a not-for-profit, community-based health care organization, we remain steadfastly committed to providing exceptional health care coverage options throughout the regions we serve.

Sincerely,
Paul
