Provider Access API.
In accordance with the CMS Interoperability and Prior Authorization final rule requirements, Martin’s Point will implement a Provider Access Application Programming Interface (API) in 2027 to share patient data with in-network providers with whom our members have a treatment relationship.
We will also implement the required Payer-to-Payer API to enable data sharing between our Medicare Advantage plans and other payers.
What to expect next.
Stay tuned for future communications where we will explain how we determine and validate a treatment relationship between a provider and member and provide instructions on how to use the API to request member data from us.
