TRICARE® prescription copay changes effective January 1, 2026.

Helping members prepare for upcoming pharmacy cost adjustments
Beginning January 1, 2026, TRICARE will increase member and patient prescription drug copays. This adjustment will apply to all US Family Health Plan members except if they are dependent survivors of active-duty service members (ADSMs) or medically retired service members or dependents. Their copays will remain the same.
We are sharing this information so you can help your patients prepare for these upcoming changes in January. Members may have questions about their out-of-pocket costs. The TRICARE search tool can be used to find a lower-tier medication that might be appropriate for their care.
