The Martin’s Point Information Technology Co-op Program gives IT graduate students the opportunity to gain experience through a project-based, immersive program. This program lasts approximately six months.

The IT Co-op Program gives students the chance to advance their tech knowledge and skills through a hands-on, full-time assignment.

To apply to the Martin's Point IT Co-op Program, you must be currently enrolled in an IT master's program.

Program Overview

Martin's Point IT Co-op participants gain experience through hands-on, temporary assignments within our organization's IT Department.

This program is designed to be a pipeline into an IT career, with many Co-op participants transitioning into regular, full-time, or extended role following their assignment.


Program Eligibility & Length

  • IT Co-op assignments generally last for a period of six months, with the potential for extension.
  • Participants must be able to work a full-time schedule (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
  • Participants must be enrolled in an IT-related master’s program and are eligible to apply any time throughout their master’s program including the duration of their graduation year.


Frequently Asked Questions

IT Co-op opportunities are paid and, participants can expect $25-29/hour with the option for a higher rate depending on the individual’s experience.

However, benefits are not available for Co-op participants.

IT Co-op opportunities are full-time, with hourly requirements averaging 35 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday-Friday.  

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely.
