Providing support for those living with the disease, caregivers, families, and health care professionals, the organization advocates for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and all other dementia and work to advance critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.
Did you know?An estimated 7.2 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, including more than 29,500 people in Maine.
Additionally over 12 million Americans are caregivers for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia, providing 19.2 billion hours in unpaid care.
