Yoga that's for every body

Chair Yoga is a gentle practice that links breath and movement, providing a wide range of benefits—from easing joint pain to reducing stress and lowering blood pressure. Participants don’t need special clothing or equipment—just a chair, a device with Zoom (for virtual classes), or a ride to the community center.

Instructor Anne Esguerra, a certified yoga therapist, offers thoughtful guidance and modifications.

“Folks have mentioned mobility improving—like getting into a kayak—as well as feeling fewer aches and pains,” she shares.

Others report better balance, deeper breathing, and even lower blood pressure.

“Sometimes just saying yes to something new is the hardest part,” says Anne. “But once you take that step, we’ll be with you every stretch of the way.”
