Honoring veterans & building connections through Clear Path & Honor Flight partnerships.

On October 1, Martin’s Point was on-site visiting with Syracuse-area veterans in partnership with Clear Path for Veteran’s Canteen Luncheons. Their Canteen Luncheons welcome veterans, service members, families, and caregivers each week—free of charge—just as the North Platte canteens did for soldiers during WWII. These meals in Chittenango, New York offer more than food; they offer belonging, fellowship, and gratitude. Learn more at ClearPath4Vets.com.

While in the area, Martin’s Point leaders also met with Honor Flight representatives. The Honor Flight nonprofit gives veterans the gift of a lifetime—an expenses-paid journey to visit Washington, DC memorials honoring their service and sacrifice. For many, it is a profoundly moving and healing experience. Having supported Honor Flight Maine for several years, Martin’s Point is excited to partner with Honor Flight Syracuse as well.
