A message from Martin's Point regarding Generations Advantage at Intermed

We are aware that InterMed has communicated to patients its plan to no longer accept Martin’s Point Medicare Advantage plans beginning January 1, 2027. 
 
This announcement was unexpected, and communications were sent to impacted members without meaningful prior discussion with Martin’s Point and in advance of formal notice of intent to leave our network at year-end.

We believe members are best served by clear, coordinated communication and appropriate notice regarding changes that may affect their care.

We will continue to communicate directly with our members about their options and provide the support they need to make informed decisions.

Martin’s Point maintains a strong network of providers, including our own primary care practices, and remains committed to ensuring access to high-quality care and coverage. We will continue to offer Medicare Advantage plans in Maine in 2027.
