Portland Wheelers provides adapted-bike rides for people of all ages with physical and intellectual disabilities, getting them outdoors for therapeutic socialization, adventure, and fun.
Through employee volunteerism and monetary donations, Martin’s Point supports the operations and growth of Portland Wheelers—providing access to outdoor activity and human connection that contributes to participants’ mental and physical well-being.
Portland Wheelers’ trikes are manufactured in the Netherlands. The OPair is a multi-speed, tandem tricycle with electric-assist pedaling that combines the latest in adaptive cycle technology.
"Portland Wheelers loves our partnership with Martin's Point. Not only do they sponsor us, but they also support the larger biking community. Several of our volunteers and board members have come to us from Martin's Point, which encourages its employees to volunteer."
