Simple ways to stay healthy.

Cooler weather means more time indoors, which makes it easier for flu, COVID-19, RSV and other respiratory illnesses to spread.

Here are a few simple ways to help protect yourself and the people around you:

  • Get your flu shot. Martin’s Point offers flu clinics by appointment. You can also schedule a vaccine visit or get your flu shot during an already scheduled appointment.
  • Wash your hands often and cover coughs and sneezes. These simple habits can help reduce the spread of germs.
  • Stay home when you’re sick. Give yourself time to rest and recover while helping protect the people around you.
  • Wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms. If you have a cough, cold or other respiratory symptoms, wearing a mask when you’re out or visiting a Martin’s Point Health Care Center can help protect others.
