Annual health plan survey

Every year from January to May, all health plans are required to seek feedback from their members about their health plan using the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) survey.

What does the survey cover?

  • The survey focuses on members’ experiences in receiving health care.
  • It includes questions about ease of getting care you need and filling prescriptions.
  • It assesses how well care is coordinated among your providers.
  • It evaluates your overall rating of health care quality.

How is the survey conducted?

A third party, Press Ganey, sends the survey to a random sample of members and provides Martin’s Point with anonymous results. This survey feedback helps us improve the quality of care you receive. The results also contribute to the Martin’s Point Health Plan Ratings score, which helps members compare the quality of available plans.
