Finding care when you need it.

Your Generations Advantage plan gives you access to a wide network of doctors and specialists, and we are committed to your care. Because these providers and specialists operate independently, appointment availability may vary.

How to see providers faster.

• Get a referral, if required. If the type of care you are getting requires a referral, having referral details can prevent delays.
• Call early. Reach out as soon as you know you need an appointment, rather than waiting until it’s urgent.
• Ask about wait lists. Many offices keep a cancellation list and can call you if an earlier slot opens up.
• Consider other options. For non-urgent needs, telehealth or another in-network provider may have quicker availability.

When your concern is urgent.

If you have an urgent medical concern, don’t wait for an appointment. Contact your provider’s office to let them know it’s urgent or visit urgent care or the emergency room.
