A message from Martin's Point regarding Generations Advantage at Intermed

InterMed recently announced its plan to no longer accept Martin’s Point Medicare Advantage plans beginning January 1, 2027. 

While InterMed’s decision is disappointing, it will not affect our ability to provide our Generations Advantage members with access to high-quality, in-network options for care now, in 2027, and in the years ahead. We will continue to communicate directly with our members about their options and provide the support they need to make informed decisions.

After conversations between Martin’s Point and InterMed leadership in the past week, InterMed has confirmed that they are unwilling to negotiate any agreement for 2027 and there will be no further discussions. 

Martin’s Point maintains a strong network of providers, including our own primary care practices, and remains committed to ensuring access to high-quality care and coverage. We will continue to offer Medicare Advantage plans in Maine in 2027.
