Self-scheduling is now available on our website

We are excited to begin offering online appointment booking for current patients. If you don’t see your provider or the type of appointment you need, or if you're prompted to call your doctor’s office, please continue using your usual method to schedule. You do not need to have a portal account to access and book an appointment through the self-scheduling platform.

Please note that self-scheduling is not for medical emergencies. If you're experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

Improved Video/Telehealth Visits

We’ve updated our telehealth platform to make virtual visits simpler than ever. There's no longer any app to download—just click a secure link sent directly to you by email or SMS text and your visit begins. The platform works on most devices with a camera, including iPhones, Android phones, tablets, and computers, making it easy to connect from home or elsewhere.

If you are interested in booking a telehealth appointment, please call your Health Care Center. Please note that an in-person visit may still be required if your condition needs a hands-on exam.

Temporary parking/entrance changes at our Portland Health Care Center

Effective April 15 – July 31, 2026

As construction continues at our Portland Veranda Street campus, parking and access to the Health Care Center will be temporarily affected. Signs directing you to the temporary parking and Health Care Center entrance will be posted.

Parking: All patients should park in the lower level parking garage (entrance is at the rear of the Health Care Center—Building 6). Please follow signs to the garage entrance. The garage has a drop-off zone and handicap parking.

Health Care Center Entrance: The usual main entrance will be closed. In the parking garage, there is elevator and stair access to the lobby with easy, handicap-accessible doors.

Visit our website for up-to-date information and maps. Please consider giving yourself a few extra minutes to navigate the new parking pattern and arrive at your appointment on time. We apologize for this temporary inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know that there steps you can take to help reduce your risk for colorectal cancer?

The most effective way to reduce your risk is to get screened regularly beginning at age 45.

Other preventive measures include increasing physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, eating a diet low in animal fats and high in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, limiting alcohol, and avoiding tobacco.

Learn more about risk factors, symptoms, and recommended screenings on our Colorectal Cancer webpage.

April is Mental Health Awareness Month

At Martin’s Point, we partner with many local organizations who share our mission to improve the health and well-being of our local communities. One of those partnerships is with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), which aims to save lives and offer hope, combating suicide through research, education, advocacy, and support.
